June 24, 2011, following the conclusion of the 2011 Summer Institute:
The Institute outing will include a visit to the Dallas Arts District including the Meyerson Symphony Center (performance space for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra) and admission to museums (Nasher Sculpture Garden and Crow Collection). Attendees will enjoy a private Koto performance and a traditional Japanese bento box (Japanese boxed lunch) at the Crow Collection. Please list any dietary restrictions on your registration form (such as vegetarian/vegan/food allergies). The outing will include round trip chartered bus transportation, photo opportunities, and many memories. The tour will leave from the UNT College of Music at 9am and will return at approximately 3:30pm.
